 It definately works - but its not easy August 29, 2010

I just finished 2 weeks on the HCG drops and have lost 15 pounds. For the first 5-6 days I was absolutely starving and had bad headaches. I am assuming they were from not eating sugar or carbs. Eating only 500 calories was really hard for me, especially with the limited types vegetables you can eat. I did use the 1 calorie salad dressing spray even though it said no dressings or oils, dry sald just did not work for me.
As hard it this is, the results are definately worth it. I have never lost this much weight in such a short amount of time, even with excersise. Just hang in there and drink lots of water every day, the hunger will go away.

I was very hopeful that this product would fit my needs as the price was excellent, the shipping was quick and it claims to be the strongest on the market. However, after 9 days on this product, I was losing alot of weight (10.5 lbs in 7 days of Phase 2!) but instead of getting used to the lower calorie diet and my hunger subsiding, I started to feel starved and very weak. After reading many support forums, I found that this is the opposite of what should be happening. It was like I didn't have any HCG in my system and I was in fact starving myself. So I went off of it because I couldn't handle the hunger anymore.
In doing more research, I found that these drops are homeopathic which basically means that it is synthetic. Also, to get the 3X that they claim (refers to its strength), you would need a prescription to obtain it. I became worried that because this isn't real HCG that I might miss out on the big advantage of this diet which is the resetting of the hypothalamus. Yes, I was losing weight rapidly but I was miserable. The bigger question became would all of my hardwork payoff with being able to maintain it with my hypothalamus being reset? I didn't want to risk it and I couldn't find anyone that had done the homeopathic version and had been able to maintain it for more than a year.
So three days after I stopped these drops, I went to my doctor and paid for the real HCG sublingual drops. Yes, it was very expensive but well worth it when my hunger subsided and I was assured that my hypothalamus would be reset.
For every person that has negative reviews of homeopathic drops, you will find hundreds of people that attest to their effectiveness. However, I would like to follow up with them in a year to find out if they were able to maintain it. I have several friends that used prescribed HCG and a couple of years later, they are still at the weight they were when they stopped the drops (give or take 5 lbs). So for me, I would prefer to spend the money to get the exact results I want without the miserable time reaching my goal and the doubt that I will be able to maintain. There is a reason that HCG is expensive. It is authentic and guarantees results if the protocol is followed properly. I guess you get what you pay for.
For those of you stil wanting to use homeopathic drops (I know that prescribed HCG is not it everyone's budget), I wish you well in your journey. I hope you find that your experience is different than mine and that you reach your desired weight!

Please don't waste your money or your time on this product. This product does not work. I saw no benefits from this product at all. Buyer beware!!

I have been using hcg for a while and usually the alcoholic kind.. I used a non alcoholic kind once and couldnt find it again so I found this one and was excited. BUT I just used some and it tastes COMPLETELY different than any of the others. Its very very sour and actually I am hungry now...and I have a headache now too..I have feeling its not even HCG?? I dont even dare to think what they could have put into it... One other commenter said she didnt even see it register any HCG when she test it with a pregnancy test.

Excellent product so far and also cheaper than the other hemopathic drops i ordered elsewhere. Only on day 2 but have energy and no hunger. Have 10lbs to lose and have not lost yet but has nothing to do with the drops but other womanly issues!
