Simply the Best is a testament that good food need not always be accompanied by dietary guilt and that flavor doesn't have to be sacrificed in the name of health. I love Weight Watchers. I follow the diet and have owned their cookbooks for years. Wanted some variety so I purchased this one and Simply the Best Italian. These recipes are terrible and the list of ingredients, lengthy. I would not recommend these books whatsoever. I believe they were written in 1999. I actually just gave them away. The best Weight Watchers books are 15 Minute Meals, Annual Recipes for Success(amazing caramel brownies) and Take 5 -- simple,delicious and not time consuming recipes. I serve them while entertaining as well, and no one can believe it's Weight Watchers.

I haven't used this book yet but I am glad that I bought it. I looked through it and the recipes seem easy using a lot of the ingrediants I have at the house. It came quickly and in good shape and I am anxious to try some of the recipes.

This is a wonderful cookbook. The Lemmon Tarragon chicken was a big hit with my family. It is a good cookbook for those even not on a diet. So far I have 4 recipes that I really like and I am sure I will try more. The flavors are really good which surprises me from a diet cookbook.

I have been doing Weight Watchers for two weeks. Most of the dinner recipes I have been making have been from this book. There aren't many pictures in the book, but I have been blogging each meal I make so I can track what the meals look like and whether my family like what I made. Most of the recipes have been a thumbs up even from my family members who are not on weight watchers. The only reason I haven't given this book 5 stars is due to the fact that the portion sizes are not included in the book. The number of servings is included so an educated guess can be made. [...].
